Woke up to this email from my sister - the nursing student - her concern for our hearts and leakage made me laugh. Thankfully my mom eased our “leaking” nerves lol.

Mom and sisters,
In reading articles on medscape (like a good little nursing student should), I came across these some coffee facts or theories that yall may find interesting due to our love for some good coffee (sarah, i think shannon and mom beat us on the coffee front, but may still be pertinent)…
1) no fear! coffee does not seem to be linked to hypertension (high BP) as thought! So you are safe with your good blood pressure.

2)BUT, beware… you may start leaking when you get older. (aka urinary bladder leakage). This is really why I wanted to send the email, because I just thought that was hilarious. Mom, hopefully you can tell us (your coffee-loving and consuming daughters) that is not true for our genes?! But if it is, that’s why I added in #1 for good measure so that though we may leak, our hearts are still safe.
